Richard “Dick” Wilson, 68, of Whitehouse, OH formerly of Bucyrus, OH, died July 21, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. He was born December 15, 1944 to Robert and Nellie (Presler) Wilson. Dick served in the U.S. Navy from 1964-69. He worked for 30 years as a carpenter at General Motors in Mansfield.
Dick was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Maumee, OH and The Colonel Crawford Lions Club in North Robinson, OH. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and Toledo Mud Hens.
He married Loretta (Christman) November 18, 1967. She survives along with sons, Doug (Tanja) of Whitehouse, OH and Brian (Jennifer) of Waterville, OH, grandchildren, Tyler, Austin and Kate, and sisters, Mary Wren of Bucyrus, OH and Joyce Mills of Grove City, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Wilson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd., Waterville, OH. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Wakeman Cemetery, Waterville, Ohio.
