Obituary for Blaine Lloyd

Blaine Edward Lloyd Jr., 80, of Whitehouse, Ohio passed away Friday December 22, 2017 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born on October 20, 1937 to Blaine Sr. and Lillian (Blank) Lloyd in Toledo. On April 18, 1965 he married Betty (Dieball) in Toledo.

Blaine served in the US Army as a Clerk and Chaplains Assistant stationed at Fort Meade, Maryland. After the Army Blaine worked as an accountant for many local companies including Libbey Glass, Pexco Packaging and the Tem-Cole Company. He enjoyed bowling scoring 2 300 games, was also a golfer and enjoyed working on large jigsaw puzzles . He was also an avid New York Yankees fan.

Mr Lloyd is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty, his daughters Jennifer VanKlingeren, Rebecca Lloyd and Sarah (Todd) Jimerson, his grandchildren Emma (Shaun) Brunt, Tyler VanKlingeren, Cole Jimerson, Lauren VanKlingeren, and Alessandra Jimerson, his great grandson Landon Brunt and his brothers James (Barbara) Lloyd and Dale Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his sister Elaine Leech and his parents.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 6603 Providence St. Whitehouse, OH. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Toledo Memorial Park.

In Blaine's memory donations are encouraged to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the American Lymphoma Society.
