Obituary for Judson C. Hahn

Judson Christopher Hahn, 59, passed away on June 11, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, Ohio. He was a resident at Heartland of Perrysburg since 2015 after suffering a stroke.
Judson was born on May 19, 1959 in Lima, Ohio. At age 5 he moved to Perrysburg, his family’s hometown, where he lived until graduating from Perrysburg High School in 1977.
Upon graduation, Judson enlisted in the United States Army where he honorably served for 8 years. When Judson returned to Ohio, he became a journeyman pipefitter and eventually retired from Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669.
Although a life loyal Ohio State Buckeye he became a resident of Lincoln Park, MI where he owned a house and enjoyed making it a beautiful home. He loved his cat “Baby” who showed up one day on his door step and stayed with him for many years. He also enjoyed boating on Lake Erie and spending time with family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard (Judd) and Rose Hahn; niece, Tyanna Hahn Moon and nephew, Tony Hahn.
He is survived by his brother, James Richard Hahn (Diane) of Metamora, OH and sister, Amy Christian Hahn Bolt (Bob) of Tampa, FL. He was also fondly known as “Uncle Jud” to Tommy Hahn (Shari); Tiesha Hahn Stiles (Keith); Emily Bolt Frick (Adam); Hilary Bolt and Kirby Bolt.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Meigs Cemetery (old side) in Perrysburg on Monday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at Hawkesbridge Clubhouse (1 Kingsview Drive). Memorial contributions can be made in Judson’s name to Heartland Hospice (28555 Starbright Blvd., Suite E Perrysburg, OH 43551). Arrangements entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Homes, Waterville, OH.
