Obituary for William Fisher

William Eugene Fisher 85, Waterville Ohio. Born on June 27,1932 Kunkle, Ohio to Marion and Clela Fisher. He was married to Sonia Morse on March 28, 1959 in Indiana.

He was a very loving Father to Glenda Fisher, Heidi (Scott) Knapp, William (Katie) Fisher, Eric (Donna) Fisher. Grandfather to Scott (Ashlee), Andrew, Eric(Natalie) Knapp. Patrick and Jack Fisher, Matthew and Jessica Fisher. Great grandfather to Lexi and Kyla Knapp. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Marion and John Fisher.

Bill attended Ayersville High School where he played on the basketball team and in the band. He graduated from Defiance College with a degree in Chemistry and the University of Toledo with a Graduate degree in Organic Chemistry. He managed one of the Research & Development labs for Owens Illinois and taught Chemistry at the University of Toledo. He held 4 Patents one being for quality control on paper mill emissions. Bill was not only a brilliant scientist, but also a loving husband to Sonia and father to all his children. He was happiest when his family was home together. His legacy will live on through the integrity by which he lived his life and imparted to his kids. He will never be forgotten.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday February 6, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd. Waterville, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery in Waterville, Ohio.

In William’s memory donations are encouraged to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
