Obituary for Brady C. Heintschel

Brady Charles Heintschel's life was short-lived but his warrior spirit and the kindness of his eyes have forever touched his family and those who fought for him at St. Luke's Family Birthing Center and the Toledo Hospital's Neonatal Unit. His name fittingly means spirited and broad shouldered, and honored the legacy of his maternal great-grandfather, Charles (Charlie) Fox.
Born nearly thirteen weeks early and weighing only 2 lbs, 3 oz, Brady was able to grip his father’s finger and respond to his mother's voice during his brief stay on earth. He had a furry crown of blonde hair, much like his big sister, Olivia Pearl, as well as large hands and feet. He was born at 8:31 pm on December 12th and answered the Lord's call in the loving arms of his parents on December 14th at 10:35 am.
He was greeted in Heaven by his maternal grandparents, Erwin and Terry Moser; and his uncle, Michael. He is survived by his father and mother, Kevin and Kelly Heintschel; his sister, Olivia Pearl; his paternal grandparents, Gerald (Sandra Everhardt) and Louise Heintschel; his aunts and uncles, Kathy (Nelson) Kraft, Holly (James DeVaul) Heintschel, Julie (Steven) Jones, Jason (Sara) Heintschel, Bob (Brooke) Moser, and Cindy (Nick) Baxter; and 11 cousins.
A service and celebration of life will take place at CedarCreek Church in Perrysburg at 5:30 pm on December 20th. Friends wanting to express their sympathy are asked to consider contributing towards Brady’s memorial fund. A special thank you is extended to the Toledo Hospital Neonatal staff for their compassion and tenderness, as well as the staffs of CedarCreek Church and Swanton Middle School.
The emptiness will never be filled, longing for our beautiful Brady boy. The softness of Brady's touch, sweet smell of his skin, and his life verse will endure in our hearts.
Psalm 28:7: The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Arrangements entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, Waterville, OH.
