Obituary for Donna McCoy

Donna Lou (Dunaway) McCoy, 85, of Waterville, OH, passed away peacefully March 7, 2018 at her home at The Browning Masonic Community. She was born September 21, 1932 in Rocky Ridge, OH to Alfred and Virginia (Provonsha) Schiller.
Donna was a loving and thoughtful person. She worked at Churchill’s and at Toledo Hospital. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Lady of the Elks, Women of the Moose, and graciously served on many committees at The Browning Masonic Community. She enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with her loved ones.
Survivors include children, DeeDee (Gene) Rhoades, Sharon (Calvin) Heltzel, Beverly (Mark) Wiese, Jimbo (Peggy) Dunaway, and George (Greg) Dunaway, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, many step grand & great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother in law Bill Cassidy and her sister in law Marie Sutphin. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Arthur Fausnaugh, husband, Robert V. McCoy, Sr., father of her children, George Dunaway, daughter, Valorie Rood, Stepsons, Jim and Bobby McCoy, sisters, Dorthy Fulton, and Joddy (Faye) Cassidy. A special thank you to the staff at Spring Meadows Rehab Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care.
A Celebration of Life Memorial, for Bob and Donna, will take place Sunday, March 25, 2018, 1:00 pm at The Browning Masonic Community Rubicon Lodge 8883 Browning Dr., Waterville, OH. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Shriners Children’s Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, Waterville, OH. To leave an online condolence please visit
